Baccarat Rules

Casino games are always, ALWAYS on demand. Tourists and residents would come and try, for luck-- the easiest way as possible.

Baccarat is played with from one to 12 players (or even more, if the layout is so that more chairs can be accommodated).

The game proceeds as follows: assume for example, that there are three players at the table--- Justin, Mike, and Harold.

Assume that Justin decides to wager on the Banker's hand and that Mike and Harold decide to wager on the Player's hand. We observe that all the players may wager on the Banker's hand or all the players may wager on the player's hand, if they wish so.

Justin will place his bet on the Bank box. Now, if Harold had decided to wager on the Banker's hand instead of the Player's hand, then he would have placed his bet in the Bank box, say, number 3.

In any case, the position of the bets will always show on which one of the two hands the respective players wagered.

Assume that Justin is given the shoe with cards. After all the bets are placed and at the request of the Caller, Justin will start dealing.

Successively he will give (slide) one card to the Caller, one card to himself, again one card to the Caller, and finally one card to himself. All these cards are dealt face down.

The Caller will now give the Player's hand (face down) to one of the players who wagered on the Player's hand, usually to the one who placed the highest bet.

If everybody wagers on the Banker's hand, the Caller will turn the cards face up. Now Justin (the Banker) will turn the Banker's hand in front of him (but behind the Player's hand) and announce its value.

If at least one of the two hands has either the value of eight or the value nine, the two hands are compared and the one having the highest value wins.

Of course, the hands may tie, that is, both may have the same value. When none of the initial two hands has the value of eight or nine, a third card may have to be dealt to one or to both hands.

Once the Player's and Banker's hands are completed (by dealing third cards if necessary) they are compared and the one having the highest value wins.

It may happen again that the two hands tie. When they do, nobody wins or loses. The players may remove or change their bets if they wish.
